After ranking the largest in-plants by both sales and employees, In-plant Impressions has combined those lists to calculate the sales per employee of each of those large operations.

Ranking in-plants by the average amount of sales each employee generates allows us to compare the efficiency and productivity of different-sized operations. It often brings smaller in-plants to the top of the list.

Key findings in 2021 include:

• Three of the top 10 on our list have fewer than 10 employees.
• University in-plants comprise half of the top 10.
• The top in-plant in our ranking generated $295,180 more revenue per employee than the next in-plant on the list.
